Tapan Kumar is a passionate Fashion Designer, educator, and entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in the fashion industry and skill-based education. He is the Founder of Parama Institute of Design and Chhaya Shree Creation, and has been actively contributing to creative skill development and entrepreneurship.

Born in Village Chandauli, District Sitamarhi, Bihar, his journey began with strong values and determination. He pursued his higher education in Bachelor of Nautical Science from West Bengal University of Technology. However, driven by his passion for creativity and independence, he chose to leave a conventional career path and dedicate himself to building his own ventures and empowering others through skill development.

He established Chhaya Shree Creation, a boutique dedicated to custom designing, tailoring excellence, and hands-on practical fashion experience. This became the foundation of his entrepreneurial journey in the fashion world.

Vision for Skill Education & Women Empowerment

Recognizing the gap in practical education, he committed himself to empowering individuals — particularly women — to become financially independent, confident entrepreneurs and skilled professionals.

Establishment of Parama Institute of Design

With a clear mission, he founded Parama Institute of Design in Nadiad to provide professional training in fashion designing and tailoring, helping students build successful careers or start their own businesses and promoting skill development at scale.

Creative Expansion – Literature & Media

He expanded his creative vision by becoming Co-Founder of Sahitya Rachana — a literature platform promoting writing, poetry, and storytelling — and Founder of Mivaa Production House, a creative production house focused on media, storytelling, and digital content creation.

Holistic Growth & Inspiration

Alongside his professional achievements, he is also a certified Yoga Trainer and Motivational Speaker. He believes in overall personal development — combining skill, mindset, and discipline.
