Fashion design is the craft and art form of applying aesthetic and visual principles, along with garment fabrication skills, to the creation of clothing, footwear, and accessories.
The origin of Fashion is from the year 1826. Probably everyone believes Charles Frederick to be the first fashion designer of the world. He also established the first Fashion house in Paris. Consequently, he began the tradition of Fashion houses. Furthermore, he gave advice to customers on what clothing would suit them. He was prominent form 1826 to 1895.

Tailoring is the art of designing, cutting, fitting, and finishing clothes.He sews, or alters clothes as required by others. They sew clothes according to the measurements taken by them. Tailors work with a set of tools. They include scissors, needles, thread, buttons, fabrics, measuring tapes and most importantly sewing machine.

Embroidery, art of decorating material, primarily textile fabric, by means of a needle and thread (and sometimes fine wire). The basic techniques include crewel work, needlepoint, cross-stitch embroidery, and quilting, as well as quillwork and featherwork.

An illustrations are studies of designer's ideas before the actual production of clothes. Fashion illustration entails drawings, paintings, and digital drawings of clothed figures. In the world of fashion, fashion illustrations reduce the amount of waste produced tremendously. It helps the designer study form, function, fit and feel in advance of construction. Before photography, magazines, patterns, and books featured watercolor paintings and sketches of costumes.

Graphic design is the art of composing visual elements - such as typography, images, colors, and shapes - to communicate information or convey a message effectively. Designing the layout of a magazine, creating a poster for a theatre performance, and designing packaging for a product are all examples of graphic design.
